The school year at Ananda School is already approaching its end. Although distance learning continues, the students have already had to take their first final exams.
The announcement was that on the 21st of September there will be news about the status of the schools in the state of West Bengal, where the Ananda School is located. But it still seems unlikely that attendance classes will be resumed. This has not stopped the schools from starting to hold final exams.
For once, the students will take the written exams from home, rather than in the classroom under the supervision of the teacher. The completed examination forms will then be handed in at the school.
In addition to exams in subjects such as chemistry or mathematics, the school children at Ananda also take exams in cultural subjects such as classical dance and music. These exams have already taken place. A current relaxation of the lockdown made it possible for the children to take these exams individually on campus.
Usthi wishes the students continued success in the exams.
